The Daily Cal, the student-run newspaper, recruits for new members.
Students are so lucky to be at a place like Berkeley, with amazing intellectuals, great food, good sports, cultural programs and museums, and stellar students. It's easy to get overwhelmed with too many activities. It's important to find someone to act as an adviser throughout your Cal career to help you make wise choices and succeed. Talk to a GSI, meet with the adviser of your leadership activity, or sign-up for a mentor through the Alumni Association. Cal is a big place. You don't have to face it alone.

There are many clubs and organizations on campus that bring similar students together and make this huge public university seem smaller and more intimate.
